When you hire an architect it is very difficult to know before hand wether it was a good choice or not especially when the subject of the design is so personal as your own home. Liam has done a terrific job. We are really happy with the design and we loved the process. What we learnt though is that the end design is just the tip of the iceberg of a more complex story. Liam conducts a very inclusive creative process and we really enjoyed the exchanging of ideas and the designs that all our conversations produced. We worked through so many options and Liam's help (and patience) in deciding the final design has been invaluable. On the technical side, Liam managed a complex and delicate planning application with tact and professionalism and the results have been beyond our expectations. Of this process one regret remains: we have no more houses to design. For now.

We have worked with Liam for our recent planning application for a large new build home. From the first telephone call we had, Liam has been extremely helpful, honest and forthcoming with information. Being our first extension project we have hugely benefited from his experience and helpful nature. Liam completed our design and planning application, and this went straight through approval first time thanks to his excellent designs and drawings. Even now his "official" work has finished he continues to offer advice, and is clearly genuinely interested in our project as it progresses through the next stages. We consulted with over 5 architects and Liam was clearly a cut above the rest… From the onset, he provided us with hundreds of great ideas whilst sticking to the brief that we provided to him. His vast knowledge and experience is apparent, from the small details to the wider picture (and helping us to stick within budget), we felt we were in safe hands with Liam. On a personal level, we found him very likable and easy to work with – and this makes it so much easier, especially when it’s your own home!
